Meet the Founder

ELIZA ALI is an American journalist, editor, art dealer, filmmaker, and creative director based in New York City. In 2018, she launched ART SHE SAYS, the leading media platform for women of the art world. For almost a decade, she has cultivated relationships throughout the art world and creative industries, including high-powered women at art advisory firms, auction houses, museums, and galleries.

With a women’s college education and an art history background, Eliza continues to democratize the art industry with luxury content, networking events, and digital media strategy. She has curated art shows across Manhattan, promoting female artists and empowering women in the art business and beyond.

Prior to launching her company, Eliza started her career at Hamptons Magazine and worked as a corporate paralegal for an entertainment law firm, assisting New York’s top attorneys and high-profile clients across art, film, and media.

She received her B.A. in International Relations and Art History from Mount Holyoke College and studied French at Université de Paul Valéry in Montpellier, France. She is currently writing her first book: Confessions of an Editor in Chief: How I Started a Media Empire and Accidentally Became an Art Dealer.
